Hidden Message

As you can see, strange numbers interrupt the translated passage.  In order, they are as follows:

Rearrange these numbers in ascending order:

In English, this makes no sense.  However, this is actually a French statement.  "Pour aimer sa ville, elle doit la partir" translates, roughly, to "To like her town, she must leave it."  At the end of Season 3, Lana Lang left Smallville and went to Paris, France.

Just for kicks, I also took the first letter that precedes each number and ended up with (in order, not ascending order):

I don't know if there's even a message hidden in there, but has anyone found anything yet?  Words that can be made from this jumble include wherever, travel/traveled/travels/traveler/travelers, leave, left, gaze, zero, home, come, welcome, comfort, goes... I have too much time on my hands!

This is a quote by Franz Kafka.  Keep in mind that Kafka is the author of the famous story Metamorphosis, which was the title of Season 1's second episode.
