Shirkie's MIDI Music

A Hobby of Mine

I started playing the piano in fourth grade and took lessons up until sometime in high school.  I quit because I hated having someone (the sheet music) telling me what notes to play.  I started just playing stuff off the radio by ear, and around that time, I was introduced to the amazing world of MIDI music.  Take a MIDI keyboard, hook it up to your computer, and record suites of music or-- if you're like me-- manually write each note in with clicks of the mouse.  I use the awesome Cakewalk Home Studio to make my files.  Here are some of the songs I've made over the years.  Let me know what you think!

Brown-Eyed Girl Colorblind Damnit Damnit, Janet! Dreams Free
Good Head Over Feet How's It Going to Be? Jumper Run Save Me
Semi-Charmed Life Spin Around The Ballad of El Goodo Three Small Words Under Your Spell What Is Love?
