Tablet 4: Kawatche
Prophecy (image property of the WB; see www.aol.com/smallville)

Interpretation
First, note the side view of the spaceship on the upper left-hand side of this cave drawing. To the right of the spaceship is the Zod insignia, first seen on the lower back of invading female Kryptonian Aethyr in Season 5's premiere, "Crusade." The Zod symbol appears to be shooting flames or beams at the "dark side" of the famous Naman/Sageeth pictogram... Or perhaps the Zod insignia is giving some sort of superpowers to Sageeth? Next to that, there's a handprint. Not sure what to say about that other than it's a handprint. What looks like either a top-down view of the Altar or a bulls-eye is next to the handprint, and finally, there is a trio of ominous black-garbed figures. Who are these figures? Why, they're the three Krypto-criminals sent to the Phantom Zone by Jor-El in Superman: The Movie.
Second, note the Kryptonian numbers written across the cave wall. These numbers don't translate to the same set of numbers as the Mayan, Cambodian, and Chinese tablets... They translate to 28476 repeated in a pattern... The same pattern we saw in Part X of the Hidden Prophecy.
28 47
62 84 76 28 47 62 84 76
28 47 62 84
76 28 47 62 84 76 28

Let me preface the calculations below by saying so many people on KSite were involved in cracking the code that I am afraid to attempt to list everyone because I fear leaving someone out. Please visit the Ezra Small Prophecies thread or the Project Mercury thread over at KryptonSite to see everyone's contributions for yourself.
The key to making sense of the numbers on this tablet is the set of numbers given to us in Part XIII of the Hidden Prophecy-- consider this set the key. In the table below, the key is on the left, and the Kryptonian tablet numbers are on the right.
Each number can be split into two parts: the "tens" digit and the "ones" digit (e.g., in 28, the tens digit is 2 and the ones digit is 8). Instead of just subtracting the Kryptonian number from its corresponding key number, subtract the tens digit of the Kryptonian number from the tens digit of the key number, then do the same for the ones digit. If either difference is negative, add 10 to that value. Seems a little confusing? An example:
Kryptonian number: 84, key number: 93
Subtract the tens digit of the Kryptonian from the tens digit of the key number: 9 - 8 = 1
Subtract the ones digit of the Kryptonian from the ones digit of the key number: 3 - 4 = -1
The difference in the ones digits is negative, so add 10: -1 + 10 = 9
Final result: 19
Perform these operations on all the numbers of the tablet to achieve the following results:
| 15 | 18 | 01 | 13 | 01 |
| 14 | 23 | 08 | 15 | 09 |
| 19 | 14 | 05 | 24 | 20 |
| 13 | 15 | 19 | 20 | 16 |
| 15 | 23 | 05 | 18 | 06 |
| 21 | 12 |
Finally, use the tried-and-true substitution method of 01 = A, 02 = B, 03 = C, etc. to discover...
| O | R | A | M | A |
| N | W | H | O | I |
| S | N | E | X | T |
| M | O | S | T | P |
| O | W | E | R | F |
| U | L |
Or a man who is next most powerful.
This is a continuation of the message on the Chinese tablet, which read, "It must be the young one from afar." This addition must be a reference to Lex, who gained superpowers from the vaccine he and Brainiac created in "Oracle."
