Interpretation

This is what appeared on the original (pre-meteor shower of 1989) "Welcome to Smallville" sign in "Pilot."  It was then replaced with the really-tacky-if-you-think-about-it "Meteor Capital of the World."

Sounds like something a sunshiney town would use to lure tourists (and their money) in.

What truth is being mentioned here?  The truth about Clark?  The truth about Jonathan's death?  The truth that Braniac is coming back with a vengeance?  Time will tell.
