The episode "Talisman" was all about the Star Blade, Palak, and how it would imbue its possessor with superpowers until Naman gained control of it. At that point, it would reveal the identity of Sageeth, Naman's nemesis, so Naman could destroy him. Below is a drawing of Palak as it appeared in a book Clark read and Palak in the hand of Jeremiah Holdsclaw.

The writing on the blade is unintelligible. It's not Kryptonian, but Joseph Willowbrook said in "Skinwalker" that the Kawatche have no written language, so I'm not sure what the writing is supposed to be. Palak's handle is in the shape of two heads facing in two different directions-- Naman and Sageeth. The symbol on the handle is a drawing of the Slumbering Place, a sacred site where the Kawatche perform death rituals. Here's a better shot of Palak in its entirely right before it was grabbed by Lex and Lionel and crumbled into dust.
