On Wednesday, May 9, 2007, visitors to select comic book stores in New York, Boston and Los Angeles can pick up a free copy of Lex Luthor's high-tech flash drive and learn all about Chloe Sullivan's mother and why Lex is so interested in her abilities. The flash drive distribution ties into the expansive "Smallville Legends: Justice & Doom" event currently unfolding on-air and online, as the gripping sixth season of "Smallville" comes to a climax this May. These limited locations will be the only places where fans can get this very special piece of the show!
In the "Smallville" episode "Progeny," which was broadcast on The CW on Thursday, April 19, intrepid reporter Chloe briefly comes under the mind control of her long-lost mother, Moira (played by Lynda Carter of "Wonder Woman" fame), who was affected by the meteors and institutionalized when Chloe was a young girl. Influenced by Moira in the present day, Chloe runs Lex off the road and snatches one of his prized possessions: a top-secret computer flash drive containing detailed information on Moira's condition and capabilities. Lex had planned to take advantage of Moira's meteor powers as a catalyst in his quest to create an army of supersoldiers--but he didn't count on Chloe and Clark Kent finding out about his scheme!
